An ART bus was involved in an incident at South Dinwiddie Street & 7th Road South on May 12. The bus experienced a problem indicated by a check engine light. The bus is undergoing a maintenance and safety investigation. There were no injuries or damage to property other than the bus.

Satisfaction with ART continues to grow

Satisfaction with Arlington Transit (ART) and its service has hit a new high, based on the results of this year’s ridership survey. Total satisfaction – those riders saying they are satisfied or very satisfied – reached 90 percent, compared to 85 percent in a 2008 survey. Arlington County Manager Barbara Donnellan presented the findings to the County Board at its Dec. 17 meeting.
